With a low headlight, exposed handlebars, and a digital instrument panel, the Vespa Gtv is a true ambassador of classic elegance fused with modern innovation. Experience the unbeatable performance of its remarkable 23-horsepower engine, making it the pinnacle of Vespa's power. Priced at €8,500, it is a premium price.  Is it value for money for the Vespa experience?

Captivating Design: The Vespa Gtv captivates riders with its low headlight positioned on the front fender and the exposed metal tube handlebars, reminiscent of the most iconic Vespa models. Now, the all-new Vespa Gtv showcases a revolutionary design, seamlessly blending heritage-inspired features with a modern and sporty appearance. It's a timeless masterpiece infused with technological advancements and unique finishes that will leave you breathless.

Unmatched Power: Propelled by the spirited 300 hpe (High Performance Engine), a liquid-cooled, electronically fuel-injected single-cylinder engine with four valves, the Vespa Gtv delivers a staggering 17.5 kW (23.8 horsepower), making it the most powerful engine ever mounted on a Vespa. While mechanically reliable, it's worth noting that some Vespisti have expressed concerns about persistent electronic issues in most models since 2006.

Cutting-Edge Features: The new Vespa Gtv embraces the future with its full LED lighting system, including the distinctive low headlight. The elegant circular instrument panel has undergone a digital transformation, allowing you to harness the full potential of Vespa MIA connectivity system, available as an accessory. The instrument panel is ingeniously connected to the handlebars through a unique cantilever support, complemented by a compact and racing-inspired windshield. Adorned with three horizontal vents and painted to match the bodywork, the optional orange windshield adds an extra touch of audacity to the Vespa Gtv's appearance.

Stylish Details: At the heart of the scooter, the unmistakable "tie" boasts sporty side vents and exquisite orange accents. The newly designed five-spoke wheels feature a matte black finish with orange graphics on the channel, further enhancing the Vespa Gtv's distinctive look. Another standout feature is the monoposto racing-style dual-tone saddle, with a rear section that can be fitted with a removable rigid cover inspired by classic racing fairings (available as an accessory). Although designed for two riders, the saddle offers ample comfort and showcases a unique technical pattern highlighted by contrasting orange stitching.

Unparalleled Aesthetics: The Vespa Gtv stands out with its matte black finishes adorning the frame of the low headlight, rear light assembly, perimeter profile of the body, handlebar, passenger footrests, silencer cover, rearview mirrors, instrument panel support, and frame. It exudes an air of sophistication and sportiness that is second to none. Available in two captivating colors, Beige Avvolgente Opaco and Nero Convinto, the Vespa Gtv features contrasting orange graphics on the windshield and side panels, truly turning heads wherever it goes.

Enhanced Comfort and Convenience: The spacious frame of the Vespa Gtv enhances its ergonomic design, ensuring natural and comfortable seating for absolute control and long-distance comfort. With the keyless system, you can ignite the engine effortlessly without inserting a traditional key. The classic ignition switch with a lock, usually found on the rear shield, has been replaced with a practical knob. Simply press and turn it to the ON position to start your journey. The engine ignition button is conveniently located on the right handlebar control cluster. The new LCD digital instrument panel provides a wealth of trip information, including maximum and average speeds, instant and average fuel consumption, range, and battery charge status. Additionally, it provides notifications for calls, messages, and music when connected to your smartphone via the VESPA MIA system (available as an accessory). The Vespa Gtv comes standard with a USB port located inside the storage compartment on the rear shield, while the generous under-seat compartment features a floor mat.

Safety First: The Vespa Gtv prioritizes safety with standard features such as electronic traction control (ASR) and anti-lock braking system (ABS), ensuring a secure and stable ride.

Vespas embody the essence of a bygone era, with their timeless design and classic appeal. However, the persistent electronic issues that plague these iconic scooters cast a shadow over their reputation. While mechanically sound, it is evident that improvements are needed in the electronic systems to align with the expectations of riders in 2023. As Vespa enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the next generation of these beloved machines, it is hoped that the manufacturer will prioritize resolving the electronic problems. Only then can Vespas truly shine as a symbol of both classical elegance and modern reliability.
