The Renault H1st Vision bears a striking resemblance to a previous model.
Although the next Paris Motor Show is scheduled for 2024 (pending confirmation), Renault has unveiled an intriguing concept car in Paris. Interestingly, it was revealed at the Viva Technology, a tech fair taking place in the city.
While we refer to it as a "new concept car," the H1st Vision is not entirely new. In fact, it is essentially a revamped version of the Renault Scénic Vision that we saw last year. The H1st Vision shares many similarities with its predecessor. Upon closer inspection, a few minor differences can be observed. The H1st Vision features distinct headlights, taillights, grille, and front bumper compared to its predecessor. Essentially, the new Scénic received a facelift even before entering production.
It's important to note that the new Scénic is not solely developed by Renault, hence the alternative name: H1st, which stands for Human First. Through this concept car, Renault aims to establish a new partnership. The collaboration, Software République, involves five prominent tech companies, primarily based in France.
The H1st Vision is packed with impressive technological innovations. It includes features such as facial recognition for unlocking the car and a digital assistant in the form of an avatar. Additionally, it boasts a unique audio system that has been contributed to by the renowned French composer, Jean-Michel Jarre.
This car not only monitors the battery, brakes, and tires but also the well-being of its occupants. In case of any issues, the car can alert the driver, going beyond just responding to accidents.
Will we see all these exciting features in the new Renault Scénic? It's uncertain. However, we can expect to see the refreshed design incorporated into the upcoming model, which still looks remarkably sleek.

While the Rocket 3 boasts a brutish design and cruiser DNA, the Diavel V4 leans toward the street fighter category with its sportier appeal. In this article, we'll explore five reasons why we love the Triumph Rocket 3 and five reasons why the Ducati Diavel V4 might just have an edge. Let the battle of these two titans begin! 1. The Rocket 3's Butch Stance: With its low seat height, long wheelbase, and imposing fuel tank, the Triumph Rocket 3 commands attention on the road. The bike's massive appearance is further enhanced by its inline-triple engine and eye-catching three-into-one exhaust setup. Not to mention, the rear tire is so wide that even Nikki Minaj would approve! 2. The Diavel V4's Sportier Look: The Ducati Diavel V4, although categorised as a power cruiser, exudes a sportier vibe. Its sleek lines from the headlamp to the tail light hint at its dynamic per...
According to a news article, Toyota claims to have achieved a breakthrough in battery technology that could lead to the development of a solid-state battery capable of providing a range of up to 745 miles (1,199 kilometers) and recharging fully in just 10 minutes. The company has simplified the production process for solid-state and liquid-based batteries, which is expected to reduce the weight, size, and cost of the battery packs used in vehicles. Solid-state batteries are considered safer and more reliable than lithium-ion batteries, but they are currently more expensive and challenging to manufacture. Toyota's advancements in battery technology are significant as solid-state batteries are seen as the next step in the evolution of electric vehicles (EVs). Other companies, including startups like Solid Power, QuantumScape, Factorial, and StoreDot, have been working on making solid-state batteries more affordable and easier to produce. However, Toyota believes it can simplify the ...
In the ever-evolving automotive landscape, some stories remain etched in the hearts of enthusiasts. One such tale is that of Saab, a once-iconic brand that faced a tragic fall from grace in the early 2010s. However, just when all hope seemed lost, a glimmer of light appeared on the horizon. An unknown investor has stepped forward to purchase the NEVS Emily GT project, potentially heralding the revival of the spirit of Saab. Let's take a journey back in time to understand the roots of this remarkable development. When Saab's financial troubles pushed it into bankruptcy, New Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) emerged as a savior and acquired the automaker's assets. With a vision of embracing electrification, NEVS set its sights on developing an electric version of the beloved Saab 9-3, aptly named the 9-3EV. Boasting an impressive power output of around 175 bhp and a range of 190 miles, the NEVS 9-3EV showcased great promise. However, despite several deliveries in 2018, the model...
