Renault H1st Vision: A Familiar Concept Car with Exciting Tech Features

The Renault H1st Vision bears a striking resemblance to a previous model.

Although the next Paris Motor Show is scheduled for 2024 (pending confirmation), Renault has unveiled an intriguing concept car in Paris. Interestingly, it was revealed at the Viva Technology, a tech fair taking place in the city.

While we refer to it as a "new concept car," the H1st Vision is not entirely new. In fact, it is essentially a revamped version of the Renault Scénic Vision that we saw last year. The H1st Vision shares many similarities with its predecessor. Upon closer inspection, a few minor differences can be observed. The H1st Vision features distinct headlights, taillights, grille, and front bumper compared to its predecessor. Essentially, the new Scénic received a facelift even before entering production.

It's important to note that the new Scénic is not solely developed by Renault, hence the alternative name: H1st, which stands for Human First. Through this concept car, Renault aims to establish a new partnership. The collaboration, Software République, involves five prominent tech companies, primarily based in France.

The H1st Vision is packed with impressive technological innovations. It includes features such as facial recognition for unlocking the car and a digital assistant in the form of an avatar. Additionally, it boasts a unique audio system that has been contributed to by the renowned French composer, Jean-Michel Jarre.

This car not only monitors the battery, brakes, and tires but also the well-being of its occupants. In case of any issues, the car can alert the driver, going beyond just responding to accidents.

Will we see all these exciting features in the new Renault Scénic? It's uncertain. However, we can expect to see the refreshed design incorporated into the upcoming model, which still looks remarkably sleek.
