Lotus has officially unveiled the dynamic and highly anticipated Lotus Emira 2.0 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. This new sports car is set to make its way to showrooms in the United States as a First Edition model in the first quarter of next year. With an online configurator already available, enthusiasts can explore the various options and features of the Emira 2.0. The starting price for this exceptional vehicle is a surprisingly affordable €90,000 before destination and handling fees.



Powering the Lotus Emira 2.0 is a four-cylinder, turbocharged engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG. This high-performance engine delivers an impressive output of 360 horsepower (265 kilowatts) and 317 pound-feet (430 Newton-meters) of torque. Mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Emira 2.0 offers seamless gear shifts and an exhilarating driving experience. The power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels, providing enthusiasts with a pure and engaging driving sensation. With its exceptional performance, the Emira 2.0 accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour (0 to 97 kilometers per hour) in just 4.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 180 mph (290 kph).



The Lotus Emira 2.0 offers customization options to suit different driving preferences. The online configurator reveals two chassis options: the standard Touring chassis, tuned for everyday road use with a balance of performance and comfortable ride, and the Sports chassis, which provides a slightly stiffer setup for enhanced handling and performance on the track. Additionally, customers can choose from three wheel designs, thirteen exterior colors, and seven upholstery options, allowing them to create a truly personalized sports car.



For those seeking even more power, the Emira V6 model is also available. Powered by a 3.5-liter, Toyota-sourced six-cylinder engine, the Emira V6 generates an impressive 400 horsepower (294 kW). Customers have the option to choose between a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission. In the manual configuration, the Emira V6 sprints from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph) in 4.2 seconds, while the automatic variant achieves the same speed in 4.6 seconds.
